In X4, you can fly every ship, no matter how big or small. From tiny scouts to massive carriers, you can hop in the cockpit or switch to an external view and take control of any ship you own. The game makes it super smooth to jump between ships. You can literally leave a ship, climb down a ladder, walk to another ship you’ve got parked on a station, and just take over the pilot’s seat with a click. It’s all about that seamless experience.

You can also build space stations and upgrade ships however you want. In X4, you get to be super creative with how you set up stations. After you make money through fighting or trading, you can start your own economy and have more of an impact on the universe. Stations are built with all sorts of modules like production, living spaces, and docks, so you’re free to design them however you like.

Instructions

1. Hit the Download button below, and you’ll be sent to UploadHaven.
2. Wait for 5 seconds and click the blue ‘download now’ button. It’s faster with a download manager, like FDM (free) or whatever else you like.
3. Once it’s done, right-click the .zip file and choose “Extract to X4: Foundations v6.00_hotfix_5.zip.” (Get 7-Zip or use the built-in Windows extractor).
4. Open the X4: Foundations v6.00_hotfix_5 folder and run the setup. Agree to the EULA and install the game. Then just launch it from the desktop shortcut.
